Dust-free, non-toxic natural and synthetic materials. For use with catGenie Self-Washing Cat Box. Septic safe. The catgenie Washable Granules are Septic Safe. On average you will need to add a few cups a month and a box of granules should last between 2 to 5 months depending on the number of cats that use the CatGenie.

The catgenie washable granules will never need replacement but you will need to add additional granules when the level of the granules fall below the line on the bowl. Use to replenish cat box when level runs low. Box lasts 2 to 5 months.
